Where Catholic Christians live as a small religious minority, there is a need for places where community within faith can develop and be lived, as well as premises for prayer and meetings. But often the small diaspora communities quickly reach their financial limits when it comes to construction and maintenance issues.

We therefore support parishes and church institutions with their building projects in regions with a percentage of Catholics of 12 % or less, namely in Germany and Northern Europe, as well as in Estonia and Latvia. We sponsor the construction and maintenance of churches, monasteries and community centres, Catholic schools, pre-schools, youth and educational centres. In the event of damage caused by natural disasters or accidents, or sudden structural problems that require urgent action, we help promptly with our urgent sponsorship.

For me personally, the most important thing is the commandment of charity. Thanks to the support of the Bonifatiuswerk, we can continue many things – building projects as well as pastoral projects.
