OUR FOUR AID TYPES
BONIFATIUSWERK AID
We stand in solidarity with Catholic Christians, who are a religious minority in parts of Germany, Northern Europe, Estonia and Latvia. Our four types of aid – the children’s aid, the faith aid, the building aid and the transport aid – offer them support with the great challenges and needs of the diaspora. We provide applicants with object and project-linked help to help themselves.
AID FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTHS
With our children’s aid we enable children and youths to meet up and experience faith in a variety of ways. We support projects of propagation of faith as well as social, charitable commitment in diaspora regions in Germany and Northern Europe, as well as in Estonia and Latvia.
FAITH AID
With our faith aid, we approach people who are searching for something or who are no longer willing or able to reconcile faith and the Church with their everyday life. On the one hand, we subsidise innovative pastoral projects throughout Germany, which aim to strengthen and pass on faith. On the other hand, we promote posts in the diaspora in Germany and Northern Europe, as well as in Estonia and Latvia, which take the missionary aspect into account.
BUILDING AID
With our building aid we facilitate places where faith is alive. We promote the construction and maintenance of churches, monasteries and community centres, Catholic schools, pre-schools and educational centres in diaspora regions in Germany and Northern Europe, as well as in Estonia and Latvia.
TRANSPORT AID
With our transport aid we help believers to overcome long distances in the diaspora and to experience community within faith. We help with the procurement of BONI buses or BONI cars.
